The municipality of Bonheiden won the Belfius Smart City Award with its campaign to reward children walking or cycling to school. Although the campaign was a great success, there was still room for improvement. The Studio – the innovation lab of Belfius – and Flow Pilots, the initiator of the project, quickly contacted Twikey to improve the digital integration of this mobility platform.

Pupils at the municipal schools of Bonheiden, Peer and Crisnée can collect digital coins with an app each time they don’t use the car to go to school. They can then use this currency at the fair, in the swimming pool or with local partners. Twikey ensures the integration of the reward system with the existing payment systems. This clearly demonstrates the versatility of our product, always tailored to the specific needs of the customer.
